What does Commercial UAV Expo Europe bring to Amsterdam Drone Week?

Upcoming edition Amsterdam Drone Week will be co-located by Commercial UAV Expo Europe. By joining forces they will cover the entire drone ecosystem from UAM to all vertical markets. Bringing together over 4.000 professionals and 100 partners. Lisa Murray is the Group Director of Commercial UAV Expo Europe, we asked her some questions about the Co-locating of the Amsterdam Drone Week.

What makes the Amsterdam Drone Week a great event?

Lisa Murray: “This is my second time at Amsterdam Drone Week. So it’s fantastic, I mean everyone in the ecosystem is here. This is just the opening morning but I’ve already had several incredible meetings. We’re very excited about the partnership because in fact, the rise focusing on Urban Air mobility, and then of course they have the EASA high level conference. “

What does Commercial UAV Expo Europe bring to the Amsterdam Drone Week?

“What we bring to the table into the partnership is the commercial small UAS portion. Thousands of users right now are using drones for construction and infrastructure transportation public safety. And what we bring to the table is Use Cases of what’s possible right now with small drones. We’re looking at ways that we could do drone demonstrations, either inside or outside. That really shows people the platforms in action because in fact, if you’re going to invest you want to see how it works. How it captures the data and what you can do with the data afterwards. That’s really important too small UAS users.”
