The Japan Airlines (JAL) and Sumitoto corporation is going to partner with Bell Textron in order to develop products and services for the urban air mobility industry. This includes even developing the infrastructure that is needed to support the next step of air transportation.
Bell already started with developing products for air mobility market and is planning to deploying its eVTOL in Japan and Asia. The agreement makes it possible to explore the business opportunities of Bell in Asia together with Japan Airlines & Sumitoto Corporation.
