The Lake kivu challenge, a flying competition organised for VTOL drone manufacturers and operators to support the safe implementation of drone solutions for last mile delivery and ADW partner Avy was participated in this challenge. During the three weeks, Avy have done many demonstrations, test flights and challenges with their Avy Aera in the Lake Kivu region in Rwanda.
Autonomous flights over the lake was made possible as well since Altitude Angels participated as well as the UTM (Unmanned Traffic Management) Service provider and demonstrate all of the possibilities that are possible for commercial drone use.
