Avy founder and director Patrique Zaman announces the launch of a new model long range evtol wing drone at the Amsterdam Drone Week in December this year.
According to Zaman Avy is a ‘wing drones for good’ company. We want to use drone technology to show that the world can benefit from us and we can actually save lives.”
“At the Amsterdam Drone Week we will reveal our new aircraft”, Zaman said. “In the recent years we’ve been developing a lot and see that there will be a major shift from the conventional drones to beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) drones, or long range drones. The drones that we all know - the ones with the four propellers - are important, but the ones with wings - like the ones we build - are more interesting in our perspective. They will be the start of a whole new ecosystem of logistical flights and first response flights. What we have been doing in the last couple of years is making the technology so reliable that we can actually fly over populated areas in a very safe and reliable way.”
About AvyAvy is a ‘wing drones for good’ company. Avy builds wing drones - a combination of a drone and an airplane to take off vertically and fly horizontally - and uses them for good applications, like medical delivery, nature conservation, first response operations and search and rescue. “We want to use drone technology to show that the world can benefit from us and we can actually save lives.”
